Fall Used Book Sale
The Friends of the Library will host their Fall Used Book Sale on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, September 21st-23rd. There will be a "sneak peek" preview sale Thursday evening, September 20th for members of the Friends. Not a Friend? You may join Thursday night by paying $5 annual dues.
Hundreds of books of all kinds will be available. Call the Library for more details at 222-6075.
Friends of the Library Purpose
The Friends of the Chickasha Public Library is an organization of people who are interested in supporting the Library.
The purpose is "to foster closer relations between the Chickasha Public Library and the citizens of Chickasha; focus attention on the function, resources, services and needs of the Library; promote public support for the development of the Chickasha Public Library to the end that it may serve adequately the needs of the steadily increasing city of Chickasha; to aid in the development of Library services and resources for all ages; to receive and administer gifts for the Library, and in cooperation with the Chickasha Public Library Board and the Library Director; seek community volunteers both junior and adult for working with the Library staff."
Membership
Membership is open to all who support the purpose. Membership forms are available at the Library.

Individual - $5.00
Family - $10.00
Patron - $25.00 or more

Meeting Schedule
The Friends Board meets the first Wednesday of every month at 4:30 p.m. in the Library's Board Room. All members are welcome to attend. The Annual Meeting of the Friends is held in May and new officers are elected at that time.
