National Friends of the Library Week

October 19 - 25, 2014

YOU and your family and friends are invited to join us on ...

  • Thursday, October 23rd 12:00 - 1:00 pm
    • Chickasha Public Library Meeting Room
    • Book discussion Brown Bag Luncheon (bring your own)
    • Topic: Mysteries
    • Discussion leader: Elizabeth Stockton James
    • This will be the first of our monthly brown bag luncheon book discussions entitled 'Books Sandwiched In'.
  • Friday, October 24th 4:00 - 6:00 pm
    • Open House - light refreshments, Library Tours, Demonstrations


Throughout the week, the Friends of the Library will be receiving donations of children's books to be given to the 3 and 4 year old children attending the Washita Valley Head Start in Chickasha. Donations of books may be dropped off at the Library. A Presentation will be made following the celebration of National Friends of Libraries Week.
